We use the mathematical convention to use the azimuthal angle \( \theta \) in the x-y plane as the first coordinate, and the polar angle \( \varphi \) as the second coordinate (see Spherical Coordinates in MathWorld).
Instances of this class are guaranteed to be immutable.
