Interface LocalExtrema.LocalNeighborhoodCheck<P,T>

Type Parameters:

P - A representation of the extremum. For example, this could be just a Point describing the location of the extremum. It could contain additional information such as the value at the extremum or an extremum type.

T - pixel type.

All Known Implementing Classes:

LocalExtrema.MaximumCheck, LocalExtrema.MinimumCheck

Enclosing class:

LocalExtrema

public static interface LocalExtrema.LocalNeighborhoodCheck<P,T>

A local extremum check.

Method Summary

Modifier and Type	Method and Description
<C extends Localizable & Sampler<T>> P	check(C center, Neighborhood<T> neighborhood) Determine whether a pixel is a local extremum.

Method Detail

check

<C extends Localizable & Sampler<T>> P check(C center,
                                             Neighborhood<T> neighborhood)

Determine whether a pixel is a local extremum. If so, return a P that represents the maximum. Otherwise return null.

Parameters:

center - an access located on the pixel to test

neighborhood - iterable neighborhood of the pixel, not containing the pixel itself.

Returns:

null if the center not a local extremum, a P if it is.
