Class Mser<T extends Type<T>>

java.lang.Object

net.imglib2.algorithm.componenttree.mser.Mser<T>

Type Parameters:

T - value type of the input image.

All Implemented Interfaces:

Iterable<Localizable>, Component<T,Mser<T>>

public final class Mser<T extends Type<T>>
extends Object
implements Component<T,Mser<T>>

A maximally stable extremal region (MSER) of the image thresholded at value(). The set of pixels can be accessed by iterating ( iterator()) the component. This is a node in a MserTree. The child and parent nodes can be accessed by getChildren() and getParent().

Method Detail

value

public T value()

Get the image threshold that created the extremal region.

Specified by:

value in interface Component<T extends Type<T>,Mser<T extends Type<T>>>

Returns:

the image threshold that created the extremal region.

size

public long size()

Get the number of pixels in the extremal region.

Specified by:

size in interface Component<T extends Type<T>,Mser<T extends Type<T>>>

Returns:

number of pixels in the extremal region.

score

public double score()

The MSER score is computed as |R_i - R_{i-\Delta}| / |R_i|.

Returns:

the MSER score.

mean

public double[] mean()

Mean of the pixel positions in the region. This is a position vector (x, y, z, ...)

Returns:

mean vector.

cov

public double[] cov()

Covariance of the pixel positions in the region. This is a vector of the independent elements of the covariance matrix (xx, xy, xz, ..., yy, yz, ..., zz, ...)

Returns:

vector of covariance elements.

iterator

public Iterator<Localizable> iterator()

Get an iterator over the pixel locations (Localizable) in this connected component.

Specified by:

iterator in interface Iterable<Localizable>

Returns:

iterator over locations.

getChildren

public ArrayList<Mser<T>> getChildren()

Get the children of this node in the MserTree.

Specified by:

getChildren in interface Component<T extends Type<T>,Mser<T extends Type<T>>>

Returns:

the children of this node in the MserTree.

getParent

public Mser<T> getParent()

Get the parent of this node in the MserTree.

Specified by:

getParent in interface Component<T extends Type<T>,Mser<T extends Type<T>>>

Returns:

the parent of this node in the MserTree.
