detectLines

public Lines detectLines(ImageProcessor ip,

                         boolean doCorrectPosition,
                         boolean doEstimateWidth,
                         boolean doExtendLine)

Detect lines.

Parameters:

ip - The image where the lines should be detected

sigma - A value which depends on the line width: sigma greater or equal to width/(2*sqrt(3))

upperThresh - Upper hysteresis thresholds used in the linking algorithm (Depends on the maximum contour brightness (greyvalue))

lowerThresh - Lower hysteresis thresholds used in the linking algorithm (Depends on the minimum contour brightness (greyvalue)).

minLength - the min length

maxLength - the max length

isDarkLine - True if the line darker than the background

doCorrectPosition - Determines whether the line width and position correction should be applied

doEstimateWidth - Determines whether the line width should be extracted

doExtendLine - Extends the detect lines to find more junction points

Returns:

An arraylist with line objects

doExtendLine - the do extend line

overlapOption - the overlap option
