public interface _RouterOperations

The Ice router interface. Routers can be set either globally with Communicator.setDefaultRouter(Ice.RouterPrx), or with ice_router on specific proxies.

Method Summary

ObjectPrx[]	addProxies(ObjectPrx[] proxies, Current __current) Add new proxy information to the router's routing table.
ObjectPrx	getClientProxy(Current __current) Get the router's client proxy, i.e., the proxy to use for forwarding requests from the client to the router.
ObjectPrx	getServerProxy(Current __current) Get the router's server proxy, i.e., the proxy to use for forwarding requests from the server to the router.

Method Detail

getClientProxy

ObjectPrx getClientProxy(Current __current)

Get the router's client proxy, i.e., the proxy to use for forwarding requests from the client to the router. If a null proxy is returned, the client will forward requests to the router's endpoints.

Parameters:

__current - The Current object for the invocation.

Returns:

The router's client proxy.

getServerProxy

ObjectPrx getServerProxy(Current __current)

Get the router's server proxy, i.e., the proxy to use for forwarding requests from the server to the router.

Parameters:

__current - The Current object for the invocation.

Returns:

The router's server proxy.

addProxies

ObjectPrx[] addProxies(ObjectPrx[] proxies,
                       Current __current)

Add new proxy information to the router's routing table.

Parameters:

proxies - The proxies to add.

__current - The Current object for the invocation.

Returns:

Proxies discarded by the router.
